Policy and Communications Trainee

Every day we are working towards all European cancer patients to have timely and affordable access to the best treatment and care available, throughout their life. We are looking for a talented and ambitious graduate to help us achieve that goal. Our internship programme will give you an extraordinary insight into our work in the field of cancer and non-communicable diseases. We will help you realise your strengths and challenge you to get outside of your comfort zone. We offer hands-on training and exposure to an exciting and busy ECPC work at EU-level in 2018/2019. The intern would work closely with the Head of EU Affairs and Communications & Partnerships Manager.

The role would be focused around supporting awareness campaigns and communication activities, monitoring policy developments, research, and building on our relationships and partnerships with other organisations. This role may also require the intern to participate in external events, support further development of ECPC immuno-oncology portal and contribute to ECPC internal and external communication activities.

We are a small, friendly and talented team, fostering collaborative and supportive culture at ECPC. As much as we enjoy working together, we also do respect a good work-life balance.

All intern posts are based in Brussels and are open to citizens of the European Union as well as others who have right to live and work in Belgium without a work permit.
