EMA Communication: IMI Web-RADR project survey
Do you know that you can directly report a suspected adverse drug reaction to your National Medicines Authority?
In the context of the IMI Web-RADR (Recognising Adverse Drug Reactions) project, ECPC we would like to draw attention to an online survey on opinions about an app to report adverse drug reactions and receive safety information about medicines.
This survey is developed in the context of a wider research study, where experts from regulatory agencies, academia, patient representatives and the pharmaceutical industry are working together to improve the recognition of side-effects. Part of this project focuses on developing a mobile app for patients and healthcare professionals to report side-effects and receive safety information of medicines. Safety information of medicines will contain, for example, warnings about newly detected side-effects.
We kindly ask you to devote few minutes of your time to share your opinion on an app with which you can report side-effects (adverse drug events) and receive safety information about medicines. The opinion and preferences of potential users are very important in developing such an application.
The survey can be found here. It is anonymous, available in several languages and it will take no more than 15 minutes to complete.
The deadline for submission is end of August 2016.
