New ECPC website
Discover with us the new features and services provided by ECPC
One of ECPC priorities since the installation of the new Board was to provide ECPC with a new website. After several months of hard work, the new ECPC website is finally available to all our Members. However, here at the ECPC Office we believe we have achieved more than that: thanks to your suggestions and with the guidance of our Board we completely transformed our website, which is not only the "face" of the largest cancer patients' organisation in Europe, but also the new home of 349 Member organisations that decided to support us.
In this email you can find all the basic information to start discover YOUR new ECPC website.
ECPC.org is now a hub, a portal that opens its doors to all ECPC Members.
Clicking on the Login button, you will be able to access the new ECPC Members' Area, a space for the sharing of ideas, positions, best practices among our Members.
Each ECPC Member can register, filling up a simple registration form. Once logged in, each ECPC Member can update their own profile, including their contact person, organisation's description, photos, videos, events etc. It is an original social media, fully and solely dedicated to ECPC Members. The Members' Area connects ECPC Members among each other and with ECPC materialising atrue partnership among all our Members. Once logged in, a control panel will appear on the left side of the website. Through the control panel you can perform all the activities related to your profile, including editing it, logging out. of the Members' Area, search for other Members, and accessing the Forum. The core feature of the Members' Area is its Forum, a space for discussion, organised in thematic areas, where each Member can introduce new topics, participate to discussions, share their project ideas, their collaborations suggestions, their common issues and solutions.
Using our newly designed Menu, you can access all website sections, divided into defined and coherent categories.
While developing the new website, out communication team decided to implement few technical solutions to make the website more user friendly:
New technical solutions
- Breadcrumbs: on top of each page, you can check which section and subsection of our website you are visiting;
- ownCloud: ECPC personalised cloud service, where both Members and staff can store and share working documents and any other file;
- Friendly URL: to make easier for you to share links from our website and to help our stakeholders to find our website through search engines;
- New ECPC search engine: more powerful and precise, find everything you need directly from the homepage (top-right corner).
