Mapping dietary prevention of cancer in the EU – NEW REPORT
The European Commission’s Joint Research Center (JRC) published a new report which focuses on the importance of dietary prevention of cancer.
The report analyses the provisions present in the national cancer plans (NCPs) of EU 28 Member States plus Turkey, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland.

The study concludes that overall, most European NCPs include cancer prevention and acknowledge a role for dietary prevention of cancer. However, this does not always translate into concrete actions to ensure healthier dietary behavior patterns.
